Ages 8-12: 1pm – 3pm
Cost each camp day is $45.00 per child.
Camp payment is non-refundable and must be paid by the Wednesday before camp. All registration forms need to be filled out and returned the Wednesday before camp.
Lazy B’s Day Camp Schedule
Each day begins with a tour of the Ranch meeting the animals and rules.
July 11- All about horses A mini lesson on horse grooming, washing, feeding, saddling and wrangler led horse ride.
July 18- STEM on the Farm Learn about the horse helmet and how it protects from falls and brain injury with experiments. Learn how grooming effects the horse heartbeat. And other hands on experiments.
July 25- Art at the Farm Different art projects to finish and take home all Ranch related. Enjoy a day of designing, making and painting your project.
August 1- All about horses A mini lesson on horse grooming, washing, feeding, saddling and a wrangler led horse ride.
August 8- Pony Express Make your horse and ride through the old west playing games as you go. Collect tokens and mail to deliver for the general store. Saddle the horses. Wrangler led horse ride.
August 15- Nature’s Adventure Learn knot tying, scavenger hunt through the woods with animal props and information. Learn archery and a horse ride led by a wrangler.
August 22- Art on the Farm Different art projects to finish and take home all Ranch related. Enjoy a day of designing, making and painting your project.
Lazy B’s Ranch is aware of the social distancing and will be taking precautions recommended by the CDC. If you would like to wear a mask while attending Lazy B’s Ranch you are welcome to bring your own. Social distancing and hand washing are recommended. We will be taking additional cleaning measures on the farm to protect students and volunteers.
